Each Program begins with a foundation of four oscillators and a noise generator, equipped with ring modulation, sync, and cross-modulation. These raw sounds are then shaped through two independent filters, further sculpted by four loopable DAHDSR envelopes, five LFOs, and six Mod Processors. To add dynamic movement, multi-lane Motion Sequencing 2.0 provides complex per-voice motion. Finally, three studio-quality insert effects allow for fine-tuning and polish.

Layer Rotate is a powerful tool for creating unique and layered soundscapes. This multi/poly synthesizer boasts four independent Layers, each capable of housing its own distinct Program. This allows for the creation of complex sonic textures through layered sounds, velocity splits, and keyboard splits.

Inspired by the original Mono/Poly's paraphonic mode, Layer Rotate introduces a dynamic new feature: flexible round-robin Program cycling. Assign different Programs to each of the four Layers and then cycle through them with each key-press. Choose to play them in a repeating sequence or introduce a randomized element for unexpected results. You can even trigger one, two, or three Programs at each step of the cycle.
