NUX Solid Studio mkII Guitar Pedal

The Solid Studio mkII is a completely reimagined version of the original amp & speaker emulation pedal. Featuring a large, full-color display and a data entry dial, this pedal offers exceptional flexibility with its menu-driven editing and advanced parameter controls. You can connect your guitar directly to the input to use the built-in amp models, or alternatively, place the Solid Studio mkII between your guitar amplifier and speaker. This setup allows you to utilize the natural tone of your own amp and then apply one of the speaker emulations before sending the signal to a PA system or FRFR speaker.

The Solid Studio mkII consists of four main blocks: Amplifier, dual independent Speaker Emulation, EQ, and Ambience. It utilizes the TSAC-4K high-definition algorithm to deliver true-to-life models of classic amplifiers, cabinets, and microphones, with both built-in and user-imported I.R. profiles. The EQ section provides robust tone-shaping capabilities, while the Ambience section adds time-based spatial effects, providing depth and dimension to your emulated tones.

In addition to onboard editing, you can connect the Solid Studio mkII to a PC via USB-C to program it using the free Solid Studio mkII software or mobile app. It allows you to mix and match preamp and power amp types, with two sets of speaker and mic combinations stored in internal memory that can be recalled with the press of a footswitch. A powerful tool for both live performances and studio recording.
